Shipping policy
Collections
Collections are available at our warehouse at 6 Toledo Close, 1 Capricorn Drive, Capricorn Business Park, Muizenberg, 7945, Cape Town. Please note collections are only available on weekday afternoons from 12pm to 5pm, and you will receive an email with these details when your order is ready for collection, if you have chosen "pick up" at checkout. Alternatively, most of our customers enjoy our door-to-door delivery - see details below!
Costs and Times for Delivery
Delivery within Cape Town is R77 for orders under 5kgs and R98 for orders between 5kgs and 20kgs. Thereafter it is an extra R20 for each additional 10kgs. Please see below regarding areas outside of Cape Town. Turnaround time is 2-3 working days (i.e. business weekdays) unless we have a stock shortage in which case we'll get in contact to discuss whether you'd like us to delay the order or replace the item.
We will notify you when our courier partner has collected your order and then you will receive it on the following business day. Unfortunately we can't guarantee an exact delivery time as our courier has a whole route to plan out and many customers to consider! However if you'd like your order delayed to a different day, just get in touch before you receive notification that your parcel has shipped and we will happily arrange that for you. Please note our courier partner delivers on weekdays during business hours only. Once you have received notification that your order has shipped, that means your precious parcel is in the trusted hands of our courier partner. We can no longer make changes to address or delivery dates at that point.
Cape Town Area
We currently deliver to Cape Town (including Somerset West, Strand, etc). For these areas just place your order through our website and the abovementioned prices and times will apply. Easy!
Bordering Areas
We do also deliver to the below bordering areas (and non-frozen items can be delivered further afield). If you need a delivery to one of these areas, please get in touch with us directly via email, WhatsApp or telephone. You will notice that our postal code checker will "reject" your code but we can actually deliver to you if you order direct. We can also set up a recurring order for you, which will get you a 5% discount on your food items!

If you're unsure about your area, you're welcome to pop your postal code into our code checker (it will come up when you try add your first item to your cart). If it says Yes then you're part of the "Cape Town" area and can go ahead and order. If it says No, please do get in touch and we'll gladly help.
National Delivery
We will happily courier any of our non-frozen products to you (treats, accessories, pet care products, etc) anywhere a courier can reach in South Africa! Just get in touch and we'll quote you. Unfortunately our frozen foods can only be delivered to the above areas at present, though we hope to expand this as we grow... watch this space, and feel free to let us know where you wish we delivered to so we know where the demand is!
How We Keep Your Order Safe
Since our raw foods are frozen, we are pedantic about keeping the cold chain solid. All products are kept safe in our freezers until the last moment, and then packed into insulated polystyrene cooler boxes. We have tested and those boxes keep everything hard-frozen for up to a day, even in non-refrigerated vehicles. Our courier stores our orders in the freezer at their depot for delivery the next day. There should be no defrosting in transit, as everything is either in a freezer or sealed in an insulated cooler box. If you ever receive a defrosted order, please take a photo of it still in the cooler box and send it to us right away so we can replace the order. Cross fingers this has never happened though!
You will notice that our courier will ask you to unpack your order and return the cooler box. This is one of the way we try to keep costs down for both you and the environment by reusing what we can and avoiding adding to landfills.
